Export a Prospecting List with Your Search Criteria

What you can do

When you export a list from Prospecting, you can choose to include the search criteria used to create the list.

This is helpful when you want to:

  • Keep a record of the filters used for a prospecting campaign
  • Share your list with a team member
  • Review why certain properties were included
  • Recreate a similar search later
  • Compare different prospecting lists

Before you begin

Build your prospecting search by selecting your county, applying filters, using the map, or selecting specific properties from your results.

What happens when you include selected criteria

When Include Selected Criteria in Export is selected, the top of your CSV will show the criteria used to create your list before the property data begins.

This may include items such as:

  • Counties
  • Owner type
  • Listing status
  • Zip codes
  • School zones
  • Property type
  • Year built
  • Acreage
  • Flood zone
  • Mortgage age
  • Cash buyer status

The property data will appear below the criteria section (highlighted in image below).

What happens when you do not include selected criteria

If you uncheck Include Selected Criteria in Export, the CSV will only include the property data.

Use this option when you only need the property list and do not need a record of the filters used.

Things to know

The criteria included in the export will match the filters selected in Prospecting.

Some filters may not be available in every county. Available filters depend on the data provided for that area.

If you open the CSV in Excel, some range values may be automatically reformatted by Excel. For example, a range such as 5 - 65 may display as a date format like May-65. This is caused by Excel formatting and does not mean the export data is incorrect.
