Why Latitude and Longitude Do Not Appear in Prospecting Exports

Overview

Users will notice that when exporting data from the Prospecting function even when all data elements are selected Latitude and Longitude fields are not included in the exported file. This is expected behavior and is related to data licensing restrictions.

Why Latitude/Longitude Cannot Be Exported

CRS licenses latitude and longitude data under specific usage terms. Under this license:

  • Latitude and Longitude cannot be exported in bulk

  • These fields will not appear in Prospecting exports

  • Selecting “All Fields” does not override this limitation

Where Latitude/Longitude Is Available

While bulk export is restricted, latitude and longitude data is available on individual property reports. Users may:

  • View latitude and longitude directly on a property record

  • Print or save property reports that include latitude and longitude

This allows access to the data on a per-property basis while remaining compliant with licensing requirements.
