Release Date: May 19, 2026
We’re releasing several improvements to Prospecting and Advanced Search to make it easier for users to build targeted property lists, review the criteria behind those lists, and export more useful information for follow-up, research, marketing, and analysis.
These updates are designed to give agents, appraisers, and support teams more flexibility when searching for properties and working with exported data.
Who This Affects
These updates apply to MLS Tax Suite users who use:
- Prospecting
- Advanced Search
- CSV exports
- Property list exports for research, outreach, or marketing
These improvements may be especially helpful for agents, appraisers, trainers, and MLS support teams who work with property searches, prospecting lists, or exported data.
What’s Included
This release includes updates in two main areas:
Prospecting Improvements
- Include selected Prospecting criteria in CSV exports
- Use new Prospecting search filters
- Choose from more Prospecting export columns
Advanced Search Improvements
- Access additional search fields in Advanced Search
Prospecting Improvements
Include Selected Prospecting Criteria in CSV Exports
What Changed
Users can now include selected Prospecting criteria in their CSV export.
When exporting from Prospecting, users will see an option to Include Selected Criteria in Export. When selected, the export will include the filters used to create the prospecting list.
Why It Matters
This gives users a clearer record of how a prospecting list was created.
It can help users:
- Review the filters used in a search
- Share the list and search criteria with a team member
- Recreate a similar search later
- Better understand why certain properties were included in the export
What Support Teams Should Know
The Include Selected Criteria in Export option is selected by default on the Prospecting export screen.
When this option is selected, the criteria will appear at the top of the CSV before the property data. This is expected behavior and does not mean the export is formatted incorrectly.
Users can clear the checkbox if they only want the property data included in the file.
New Prospecting Search Filters
What Changed
Prospecting now includes additional filters for mortgage, foreclosure, and building-related searches.
New or expanded filters include:
- Loan Type
- Foreclosure Status
- Building Stories
- Building Units
Why It Matters
These filters give users more ways to create targeted prospecting lists based on specific business needs.
For example, users may be able to:
- Search by loan type to identify properties that may be worth reviewing for financing-related opportunities
- Include properties with active foreclosure records
- Search by building stories
- Search by building units for rental, investment, or multi-unit opportunities
What Support Teams Should Know
Filter availability may vary by county depending on the data available.
If a user does not see one of these filters, the selected area may not have the supporting data needed for that filter.
Users can combine these filters with other Prospecting criteria to narrow their results further.
More Prospecting Export Column Options
What Changed
Users can now select additional columns when exporting a Prospecting list.
New export column options may include:
- Owner Occupied
- Seller Name
- MLS Listing Number
- MLS Status
- Loan Type
- Lender Name
- Loan Amount
- Active Mortgage
Why It Matters
This gives users more control over the information included in their CSV file.
Users can customize their export to better support their workflow, whether they are using the file for outreach, research, property review, analysis, or importing data into another system.
What Support Teams Should Know
Some fields may be blank if the data is not available for the selected property or area.
Column selection only affects the exported file. It does not change the search results shown in Prospecting.
Advanced Search Improvements
Additional Fields in Advanced Search
What Changed
Advanced Search now includes additional fields that are available in Prospecting. Additional filters for mortgage, foreclosure, and building-related searches.
New or expanded filters include:
- Loan Type
- Mortgage Age
- Cash Buyer
- Foreclosure Status
- Building Condition
This update creates a more consistent search experience across MLS Tax Suite.
Why It Matters
Users now have more consistent access to search fields across Prospecting and Advanced Search.
This helps reduce confusion and makes it easier for users to search by mortgage, and property-related criteria without switching between Advanced Search and Prospecting.
What Support Teams Should Know
Available fields may vary by county based on data availability.
Users can combine multiple Advanced Search sections to narrow their results further. For example, a user may search by location, property characteristics, owner profile, listing details, and mortgage-related fields in the same search.
Things to Know
- Available filters and fields may vary by county.
- Some exported fields may be blank when data is not available for a property or county.
- When selected criteria are included in a CSV export, those criteria appear before the property data.
- Excel may automatically reformat some CSV values when the file is opened. For example, certain number ranges may display as dates due to Excel formatting.
- Prospecting export column options control what appears in the downloaded CSV file. They do not change the search results in MLS Tax Suite.
